Allyson W. Haynes
Associate Professor of Law

Allyson W. Haynes joined the faculty of the Charleston School of Law in 2004 after serving at Sony Corporation of America as Director of the Legal Department. Professor Haynes is also formerly of the New York firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton. She was named associate professor in 2007.

Ms. Haynes received her B.A. from Duke University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

She teaches Contracts, Civil Procedure and Information Privacy Law. Her most recent publication was Online Privacy Policies: Contracting Away Control Over Personal Information?, 111 Penn. St. L. Rev. 587 (2007).
