Paul Lund
Visiting professor of law

Paul E. Lund, who was a former associate dean of Appalachian School of Law, will teach contracts and civil procedure in the 2008-09 academic year.

From 2006 to 2007, Lund served as a visiting law professor at the Charleston School of Law. In the spring of 2008, he taught at the University of South Carolina School of Law. He has been an associate professor of law at Appalachian School of Law since 1998, but has been on leave of absence since the fall of 2006.

A former clerk to a federal appellate judge in Florida, Lund's academic writings focus on the role and jurisdiction of federal courts. Prior to entering academia, his practice included representation of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation during the major period of bank and S&L failures in the late 1980s.
