HOW TO APPLY

Please follow these steps to apply through the Internet:

1. Click on this link to open a writable PDF form in a separate browser.

2. Complete the the application. (This is a writable PDF, which means you will be able to enter information on it.)

  • NOTE: You will have to print recommendation forms and submit those to recommenders to send to us via traditional mail.

3. When your application is complete, print and mail it to the Office of Admissions. Please be sure to include your contact information.

The easiest way to apply for the Charleston School of Law class beginning in Fall 2005 is to use our writable PDF form that's available on our Web site.

To apply, follow the instructions at right. If you wish to apply for some term other than the Fall 2005 term or if you wish to receive a traditional paper application, please contact us at info@charlestonlaw.org

Deadlines. Applications are accepted for free until Dec. 31, 2004. After then, please enclosse a $50 application fee for your online application. All applications are due by March 1, 2005.

Partial applications. A partial application may be submitted and then supplemented at a later time. However, you will not be considered for admissions until a completed application as well as all recommendations, LSAT scores and Dean certifications have been received. You may check on the status of your application at any time by contacting info@charlestonlaw.org.

Don't forget. In addition to filling out our application form, you must ensure you complete the following steps for your application to be complete:

  • Take the Law School Admission Test.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation directly to the Charleston School of Law Office of Admissions or through the LSAC letter of recommendation service..
  • Submit a personal statement, including reasons for wanting to attend law school.
  • Submit official transcripts from all institutions attended to the LSAC.
