Welcome luncheon for incoming law students

In 2007, the Office of Diversity Initiatives partnered with the Black Law Students Association for the Law School's first Annual Welcome Luncheon. This event is designed to address the myths and concerns that incoming law students have about law school. During the luncheon, new law students are paired with second- and third- year law students through BLSA's Buddy System Program so that the new students' concerns about law school will continue to be addressed throughout the year.

CSOL Diversity Fellows program

The school has initiated a Fellowship Program for recent graduates interested in pursing careers as diversity administrators in higher education. The program offers Fellows an opportunity to participate in the development and the execution of diversity activities at the School. Reagan Singletary Flemming was selected in December 2007 to be the first CSOL Diversity Fellow. She currently works in the Office of Diversity Initiatives at the School.
