Uganda Clerkship
In 2007, the Office of Diversity Initiatives partnered with
the Ugandan Supreme Court to establish an externship program.
As a result, nine students from the Charleston School of Law
travelled to Uganda to serve as externs for the Ugandan Justices.
Throughout the externship,
students were able to learn about the Ugandan Judicial system
and experience Ugandan culture. Additionally, students researched
legal issues and drafted opinions for the Justices.
