Sydney A. Beckman
Assistant Professor of Law

Beckman, the author of several legal textbooks on family law, practiced law for several years before joining the faculty at the Charleston School of Law.

While in private practice in Arlington, Texas, he also served as a municipal judge pro tempore and a visiting associate judge. He is coauthor of Texas Family Law-Direct and Cross Examination. Beckman will teach courses in family law.
