Student Bar Association to host Friday charity auction
Proceeds will go to protect heirs property and student government

SEPT. 20, 2005 -- Local attorneys and judges will join students at the Charleston School of Law Friday to network and raise money for good causes when the Student Bar Association hosts its first Annual Silent/Live Auction Friday.

The three-hour auction, which starts 7 p.m. Friday in the law school lobby on Mary Street, will feature lots of exciting items - - from golf packages and use of an Edisto Island beach house for a weekend to a catered oyster roast for 50 people.

Food will be provided by Tidewater Catering. Beer and wine also will be available. Tickets are $10 each.

Proceeds will benefit the Center for Heirs Property Preservation and the Student Bar Association.
