School
offers several writing opportunities for students
Competent, effective, professional writing is an absolute for
every lawyer. Students at the Charleston School of Law have opportunities
to work with faculty on the Charleston Law Review, Federal
Courts Law Review and the Maritime Law Bulletin:
Charleston Law Review
The Charleston Law Review
provides a unique forum to showcase quality research and original
thought. (Visit
CLR Web site.)
Federal Courts Law Review
The Federal
Courts Law Review (FCLR) is an electronic law review dedicated
to legal scholarship relating to federal courts. Articles are
from scholars, judges and distinguished practitioners. The Charleston
School of Law has the responsibility of producing the printed
version that is expected in the early part of next year. (View
FCLR Web site.)
Maritime Law Bulletin
The Maritime Law Bulletin,
or MALABU, is a nexus of information for the maritime legal community.
It strives to:
1. Provide a current and timely product, representing
the most recent state of maritime jurisprudence and the industry
as a whole;
2. Cover the wide spectrum of the maritime industry
through three sections: law, commentary, and informative narratives;
3. Supply a forum for discussion in the maritime
industry and maritime legal community.
